§ 86-39. Disconnection and abandonment of individual sewage disposal system upon connection to public sewer.

When connection is made to the public sewer system, any septic tank, cesspools, and other individual sewage disposal facilities on the premises shall be disconnected and abandoned and the owner shall fill those structures with suitable material approved by the planning department and after issuance of the proper permit. Such disconnection, abandonment, and filling must be completed within 120 days of connection to the public sewer system.
