§ 6-2. Compliance with rules and regulations for the sale of alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or offer to sell any alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises without first complying with the rules and regulations set out in this chapter.

    (b)

    Notwithstanding anything in this chapter to the contrary, the sale of alcoholic beverages in the County of Banks is a privilege, and not a right, and the issuance of a license hereunder shall not create any property rights in the license holder.

    (c)

    No person shall allow alcoholic beverages to be consumed at or within a place of business unless the alcoholic beverages were purchased at the place of business for consumption on the premises from a licensee with a license issued pursuant to this chapter. No person shall sell, offer for sale, possess, or permit the consumption on the licensed premises of any kind of alcoholic beverages, the sale, possession or consumption of which is not authorized under this chapter.
