§ 38-61. Participation in mutual aid pact.

(a)

The county resolves to provide the best possible protection to its citizens in accordance with O.C.G.A. §§ 25-6-1—25-6-11. In order to maximize the saving of life and property when disastrous incidents occur, the county resolves to join the Georgia Mutual Aid Resources Pact as provided in O.C.G.A. § 25-6-1 et seq.

(b)

The county may withdraw its membership by delivering written notice to an officer of the pact given 90 days' notice.

(c)

There shall be no liability imposed on the county for any action or failure to act as a party of the Georgia Mutual Aid Resource Pact.
