§ 34-68. Enforcement.

Violations of the criteria set forth in this article for protecting the water quality of the Grove Creek and Mountain Creek shall be enforced by the county, assigns or duly authorized agents. All incidents of littering, water pollution, or infringement of the buffer zone or any other act which threatens water quality, shall be punishable by the maximum fine of $1,000.00 allowed by law in the magistrate court pursuant to O.C.G.A. § 15-10-60 et seq. This is in addition to any other punishment provided by other local, state or federal law.
