§ 2-31. Meetings.

  • (a)

    The Board of Commissioners of Banks County shall hold regular meetings on the second Tuesday of each month, and may adjourn from day to day, and may hold called sessions whenever in their opinion public necessity requires it. The time of the regular meetings and of the called sessions shall be determined by the board of commissioners. If a public hearing is required, the date, time and place of the public hearing shall be determined by the board of commissioners. Notice of the date, time and place of all regular meetings, called sessions and public hearings shall be as required by Georgia Law.

    (b)

    The structure at 150 Hudson Ridge, Homer, Georgia, 30547 is hereby designated a Banks County Court House Annex and the board of commissioners shall hold regular meetings at the Court House in said county or at the Court House Annex in said county on the second Tuesday in each month and may adjourn from day to day and may hold called sessions whenever in their opinion public necessity requires it.
